Scanner Jack was a volunteer member with Ft. Bend County EOC and was recognized a number of times for his contributions to the Radio Shack scanner books of frequencies.
Once he complained of low signal strength from the Ft. Bend EOC repeater. We investigated and learned his QTH was situated perfectly in the shadow of the tower whereas the repeater antenna was mounted on the opposite side of the tower from his QTH.
