QEX of Jan/Feb 2017 contains an article by an IK3 that highlights Long Path
Echos.   Signals arrive both short path and long path.  Depending on the
path and propagation,, a delay of up to 140 msec can be heard....hence an
echo occurs.

I once was, quite awhile back, able to hear my  dit travel around the world
on 20 meters.   I had an Icom 735 that had a very quick xmit to receive
switching time that allowed it.   Pretty cool I thought.
