-- The Greater Houston Hamfest, *the largest Ham gathering around these
parts*, is next weekend March 6 and 7.

-Buy an $8 on-line entry ticket -- save money, as it is $12
at the door.
-Buy a $15 ticket for the delicious 6PM Friday evening
*Spaghetti
supper.*
-Prep for your license upgrade test. Check-in Saturday at
the *Club Room 8 to 9 AM*.
-Sign up a friend on-line for N5VEV's *Ham-In-A-Day *Class
for non-Hams.
-Plan to attend W5ACM's *8 AM Balloon Launch Team seminar*
and all *3 balloon launches*.
-Attend N5KJN's *DMR 101 and 102 classes* to get you up to
speed on DMR. At 9 and 10 AM.
-Volunteer to lend a hand for a few hours on Saturday to
help run this Ham Fest.
-- *TODO this week:* Get on the air and make at least one contact -- CW,
SSB, FT-8, FM, DMR....whatever.
-- *Bug in your ear -- Future events*
