ARRL 160-Meter Contest - 2019
Call: N5XZ Operator(s): N5XZ Station: N5XZ Class: SO Unlimited HP QTH: TEXAS Operating Time (hrs): 9:12 Summary: Total: QSOs = 400 Sections = 78 Countries = 21 Total Score = 86,328 Club: Texas DX Society Comments: Not a bad score I think for part time operation. Conditions were in and out at times, noise was high, amp not fully working, but had a great time anyway. I managed to work 49 out of 50 states (heard them all, though, missed Wyoming) and all but four VE provinces (BC, NL, NT & SK)! Looked like I might get a clean sweep at one point! I did work two new 160 meter countries (D4 and J3) so that made the contest a huge success as far as I am concerned. Using my Dentron MT-2000A tuner for impedance matching, I noticed it got quite warm at times (not really a good thing, but something I've not experienced in the past!) Rig: Elecraft K3/P3 Amp: Alpha 78 Ant: Hy-Gain Hytower as inverted L S/W: N1MM+ Tuner: Dentron MT-2000A Posted using 3830 Score Submittal Forms at: http://www.3830scores.com/ Allen R.
