Texas QSO party is a Fun event held once a year. I would urge everyone to get
on the air and support the great state of Texas on Radio. You do not have to be
a contester to participate.

You can operate as much time as you want during the two days of this event. You
can operate SSB or CW or both. You can also operate from home QTH or mobile.
You can call CQ or just respond to people calling CQ.

The exchange for TX stations is 59 and four letter county abbreviation. If you
are in Harris county and operating SSB, your respond will be 59 HARR. If in
Fort Bend and operating CW, it will be 599 FBEN.

Go to the TQP web site for more info on rules and county abbreviations.
http://txqp.net/ Please read Chuck’s e-mail below if you are going to call CQ
and work a county. He is putting together a list of people and counties that
will be on the air.

Please get on the air and support this event by responding to people calling CQ
TQP.
