Hello! My son (K5LBU’s grandson) and several other Scouts in his BSA Troop are
working on their Signs, Signals, and Code Merit Badge which includes Morse
code. Would it be ok to bring the boys to whatever meeting would fit in with
their MB and your presentation? I am talking to the MB Counselor, John Dobias,
about having the boys come out to Field Day in June as well. We are with Troop
1424 meeting at New Hope LC in Missouri City. Or have someone come out to the
next MB class? Let me know and I will talk to John to see what works best for
everyone.

Yours in Scouting,

Elizabeth J White (K5LBU/Frosty’s oldest daughter)

Subject: [BVARC] Ideas for club meeting presentations

Thank you to all who answered my questions on the email reflectors. Much
appreciated. I wanted to pass along something I recently put together as
president of the Houston ECHO Society. It's a list of possible presentations
for radio club meetings. Maybe you can pass this along to your club officers.
And, you may have seen a presentation that was really memorable that you can
add to the list. I remember K5LBU (SK) slide shows of Botswana and also a fun
session with HT show and tell. Anyway, thanks again and here is the list. Hope
it spurs some ideas. de AG5T
