I have wondered the same thing about attendance. I have attended hamfests in cities much smaller than Houston and seen much larger attendance. As far as vendors it seems to be a delicate balance of making a profit and that is directly related to attendance. The groups do a good job putting it together but I wonder why growth is an issue?
