For what itโ€™s worth:

Saturday, I tried multiple times to call in, near 2 PM. Only once did I
hear W1V calling out for check-ins, and that was weak and fuzzy. I never had a
reply, which certainly

Ron, K5HM-

This is to confirm:

1. We heard your voice on the HF station, albeit the signal to noise ratio was
worse than from Houston ( duh.. ).

2. You managed to confuse Kelly, at first because he may or may not have
understood the words remote and how they work.

( Please do not quote me on this... ). The noise level was high due to
simultaneous 2m and hangar background tasks.

3. The results of approximately 100 contacts will be matched ( that is the plan
) with the QRZ.com database for sending an electronic mail confirmation. Please
ensure that your profile is correct for the e-mail account.

4. We really do appreciate you calling the station W1V ------ !!!!

5. Nice lamp ( your byline )- please do not repeat to my YL, Karen.๐Ÿ™
