Just got up from a nap. Never a good time to organize thoughts. <grin>
My radio is a Kenwood TM-D710A. I get an automatic switch to weather mode every Wednesday at noon, and just hit MR button to switch back out of WX mode. 73, Keith NM5G From: BVARC [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Keith Dutson via BVARC Sent: Thursday, January 18, 2018 3:17 PM To: 'BRAZOS VALLEY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB' <[email protected]> Cc: Keith Dutson <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [BVARC] QST, Kenwood TV-71A programming help needed. Is it a TM-V71A? Have you tried just hitting the PF1 key again. This is the way my TH-D210A works. Also, I can go back to memory mode to get out of WX mode. Have you read the manual? 73, Keith NM5G From: BVARC [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gary Sitton via BVARC Sent: Thursday, January 18, 2018 2:17 PM To: BRAZOS VALLEY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > Cc: Gary Sitton <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > Subject: [BVARC] QST, Kenwood TV-71A programming help needed. I accidentally touched the PF1 key when I turned my 2 Mtr. FM rig on today (TV-71A) . This selected the WX channels (162.xxx MHz) and I can't get it to change back to the 144 MHz band. The [F], [BAND SEL] sequence does not seem to work?? My rig is useless for now and all I can get is the WX reports. 73, Gary Sitton, K5AMH [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
