John,

I have used Google Voice since Beta for several years. It allows me to
setup my phones much like the phone company features. I have my number ring
my House, Cell, office line, and even my company cell phone all from just
one number. I have even switched cell phone providers and since I had my
own number I did't need anyone permission to Keep my number.

The best part is that unwanted calls can be dealt with like Spam. Once the
call is blocked Google Voice uses a tone system to inform the robo callers
that the line has been disconnected which removes my number from their auto
dialers. There is also VM to text feature that works nicley.

Have Fun,
Jeff
