Howdy All, I was just chillin’ and watching a YouTube video on gunsmithing a Remington 700 when there was a knock on my door.
It was the nice lady from Code Enforcement. Evidently, someone had complained that I had “electrical wires” all over my back yard. I told her that I have a wire antenna and that all connections are per NEC and that anything else was subject to FCC jurisdiction. I showed her the surge suppressors where the feedlines enter the house - this is a legitimate item for NEC.
