I did a search for such material a few years back and found it to be 'hens teeth'...in Houston anyway. Maybe your search will be better, if you go to the hinterland Tractor Supply/farm implements places. I was told PVC was the desired piping for field watering these days, for weight and ease of repair.
In lieu of that, I used 21 foot Cyclone fence top rail sections that are swaged, so easy to get 40 feet or more. They used to carry the 21 footers at Home Depot, but now you have to go to a fence supplier. A newer idea being touted is to use 1.5" EMT conduit with the Bend Gard products..a bit pricy but off the shelf materials... http://www.bend-gard.com From: BVARC [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bill Crowell via BVARC Sent: Thursday, November 12, 2015 8:28 PM To: BVARC <[email protected]> Cc: Bill Crowell <[email protected]> Subject: [BVARC] Seeking used aluminum irrigation pipe for antenna supports If anyone knows where I might obtain this material around HOU, let me know. 2 50' pieces, 3" in diameter would support my dipole nicely. 73 Bill Crowell, N4HPG Pearland, TX Text messaging one-handed since 1982
