Take it to Lone Star (new name for Houston Amateur Radio). They are located
on FM1960, just east of Hardy Toll.

Russel is the best I have ever seen. In my opinion. He is better than the
factory.

Subject: [BVARC] Yaesu FT-897D repair/alignment

Hello all,

Thanks to all that responded to my 'dumb question of the day.' The powers
that be at Cameron decided to let the site coordinator handle it as long as
he/she ordered parts from CDW.

My new question is this: Can anyone recommend a repair shop that will go
through my FT-897D and align/tune it and replace anything that might be
wrong with it? I haven't good review of sending it back to Yaesu repair, so
I am really looking for a 3rd party/aftermarket repair shop

I want to sell my FT-897D but I don't want to sell anyone any problems. The
rig runs fine for everything that I do with it, but selling with a clean
bill of health would make me feel better.

73 all, Rob, KC5RET
