I will be at Kitty Hollow Park Thursday evening for a demonstration of remote operations for our newer operators. This will be a very good opportunity for our new techs to have their first HF experience. I will be using an Icom 706 Mkii operating on 20 meters with a 20 meter delta loop antenna. It is my intent that this demo will remove some the "HF fog" for new operators.
Everyone is welcome to come by and join me from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm this Thursday 23 at Kitty Hollow Park in Missouri City. The park entrance is about . 3 miles to the east of the Sienna Parkway intersection. If can't make it there, but like to check in, listen for the "Kitty Hollow" net at 14.215 +- 10. This impromptu net has not been coordinated. We will also monitor 146.940 if you have any questions. I hope some of you will join us.
