To all BVARC members:
If you did not come out to BVARC field day you missed out on a lot
of good times and good food. I personally would like to thank Mike
Hardwick and Mike Davidson for their hard work and dedication to getting this
years FIELD DAY organized for the three (3) clubs, BVARC, TDXS, ECHO. I would
also like to thank all the workers who showed up to Friday afternoon and
Saturday morning to help raise antennas, run cables, set up stations and set
up the Intrarnet. I would also like to give a big thank you to all the Hams
that showed up to operate. All the night slots were filled and when I left
our logging program showed 4000 + contacts. Our GOTA station had over 100 +
contacts. DR Wolweaver(sp) stopped by and helped explain the law that was
passed about the generators in deed restricted developments and looked at
our operation. I would also like to thank the people that donated liquid
refreshments and the FOOD was FANTASTIC. If I have left anyone out I apologize
to you.
