Please do not forget, the Greater Houston Hamfest (GHH) is fast approaching. In fact, now there are only 41 more days before welcome Texas to our house. For those of you who are not aware, the GHH is welcoming a great lineup of speakers for 2015. Thanks to the efforts of some dedicated members we have a Nobel Laureate, an Esteemed ARRL member, CQ magazine editor, and a Rice University professors speaking this year. For the first time we will be welcoming our home town heroes the Skeeters Baseball Team! The vendor tables are almost sold out as of today. I think there are only 8 left this morning. Much work has been done but before we can call it done there is much left to do. We have done such a great job with the hamfest before, we would like to ask for your help with the GHH for 2015. The GHH will be conducting a meeting for all volunteers and volunteer leaders on Tuesday the 17 of February at 7:00 PM in Bayland Park! Please come to the meeting and get updates on the Hamfest and please help us continue to be a leader of Amateur Radio in Texas by helping us out. We look forward to seeing you at Bayland.
