. I thought I would pass along some more information for you and any others
who might be interested in Hope, the little dog that I sent emails about the
other day.

Well, the friend still has the dog.

Let me tell you a LOT more about Hope and her rescuer.

She is my son's next door neighbor, Robin.

All of this initially happened while Robin was going thru chemo.

Hope wondered up to her house one day and Robin found her. Some of the kids
in the neighborhood told her where Hope lived so she took Hope back to her
owners house. They told her that they did not want her anymore and told
Robin that she could have hope and also gave her Hope's papers. ( Apparently
she is a registered Schnauzer.)

Going thru chemo and already having a dog (her daughter's), she looked for
another home for Hope. She gave her to a former work associate who lived in
Hockley and thought that this was the end of the story. No.

Three years after being adopted by this person in Hockley, she gets a phone
call from her vet because of old tags on Hope's collar and tells her that
Hope has been found wondering along a road 20 miles from Beaumont, So Robin
rescued Hope again. Now that Hope is back with Robin, she is once again
looking for a home for Hope (What a good name for a little dog who has not
had an easy life to date.)

If you are interested, please let me know so that I can help with the rescue
adoption.
