B-varc members will remember Claude who used a discone for years.

</div>In the past at a former QTH, I've used homebrew j-poles and c-poles (also
called a slim-jim) with good success although they were mono-banders. I also
used a diamond vertical.
When I moved to Houston however, I had to deal with HOA restrictions so I ended
up trying a discone antenna that I purchased at Houston Amateur Radio and was
pleasantly surprised at its performance and swr on both 2m and 70cm. I have
been using it for the past year with no problems.
Good luck!

centimeters radio.

Any suggestions.
