I also used a diamond vertical. When I moved to Houston however, I had to deal with HOA restrictions so I ended up trying a discone antenna that I purchased at Houston Amateur Radio and was pleasantly surprised at its performance and swr on both 2m and 70cm. I have been using it for the past year with no problems. Good luck! Josh KB3VQQ On May 10, 2014 5:16 PM, "via BVARC" <[email protected]> wrote: Hi all. I'm looking for a base station antenna for a 2 meters and 70 centimeters radio. Any suggestions. Thank you R.
