I found the "noob" issue : In Bumblebee.conf, I had to add nvidia in the "Driver=" line
# The Driver used by Bumblebee server. If this value is not set (or empty), # auto-detection is performed. The available drivers are nvidia and nouveau # (See also the driver-specific sections below) Driver=nvidia No everything looks fine Sorry for the noise Kind regards Fabien From: ab_f...@hotmail.com To: bumblebee@lists.launchpad.net Subject: Cannot access secondary GPU - error: Could not load GPU driver Date: Sat, 25 Jan 2014 22:49:21 +0100 Hi all, I'm struggling to get my nvidia GPU running on my (new) Asus N550. GPU driver is not properly loaded, despite following various guidelines on the web When running the command : optirun -vv --debug bash the only difference I notice with logs found on the internet is the following line, which seems to miss the path information : [DEBUG] LD_LIBRARY_PATH: instead of something like this : [DEBUG] LD_LIBRARY_PATH: /usr/lib/nvidia-bumblebee This email is in English, but I noticed some devs are French (e.g. ArchangeGabriel). So am I too, so don't hesitate to reply in French I hope I don't miss anything obvious. Kind regards Fabien
