Hi, I have a problem with last stable kernel. These are information you need:
Distro: Arch Linux x86_64 Kernel: Linux arch 3.9.8-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jun 27 21:37:31 CEST 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux Manufacturer and model: baseboard-manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. baseboard-product-name: K56CM baseboard-version : 1.0 system-manufacturer : ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. system-product-name : K56CM system-version : 1.0 bios-vendor : American Megatrends Inc. bios-version : K56CM.206 bios-release-date : 08/21/2012 Bumblebee version: optirun (Bumblebee) 3.2.1 After I've updating the system with the following packages: bbswitch-0.7-4 linux-3.9.8-1 linux-headers-3.9.8-1 nvidia-319.32-2 nvidia-utils-319.32-1 if I check bumblebee status, I get: [ksolsim@arch ~]$ optirun --status Bumblebee status: Ready (3.2.1). X inactive. Discrete video card is off. and if I launch an application, i.e. kate o kwrite (applications start normally), but if I check bumblebee status again, I get: [ksolsim@arch ~]$ optirun --status Bumblebee status: Error (3.2.1): [XORG] (EE) Server terminated successfully (0). Closing log file. but if I do: [cylon@arch ~]$ cat /proc/acpi/bbswitch 0000:01:00.0 OFF the only way to return to normality is restart bumblebeed (from systemd) [root@arch ksolsim]$ systemctl restart bumblebeed.service e then: [ksolsim@arch ~]$ optirun --status Bumblebee status: Ready (3.2.1). X inactive. Discrete video card is off. bugreport attached. thanks.
