Hi,
In fact after some searchs I figured out that it's currently hard to
get nvidia working on Fedora 17. On the french fedora forum there
was an user maintening a repo for bumblebee and driver, but he
experienced too much problems with Fedora 17, so that there is no
package support for it now. That's user has switched to ArchLinux
waiting fo Fedora to fix the problems.

But you're also having a issue tracked here :
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=827167 for Bumblebee in
Fedora.
Hope you will find enough informations for installing nvidia with
bumblebee.
Else, you have to take care of two things when installing nvidia: do
not overwrite Mesa GL librabries, and do not create a xorg.conf for
nvidia.

Fedora hasnt any Bumblebee packages in the repos, I have
installed it from tarball as well as VirtualGL. On the Fedora
wiki is mentioned to use Noveau driver with Bumblebee, but this
seems to be outdated.
So, back to nVidia drivers. Is there anything special to install
the correctly with Bumblebee ? If I tried to simply install
akmod-nvidia, blacklist noveau and reboot, it failed to start X.
Are there any special steps to follow ? eg. uninstall current
Bumblebee, install nVidia drivers and install Bumblebee back ?

Please install nvidia proprietary driver via bumblebee-nvidia or
such (dunno package name on fedora) and try again with this one.
