I just got done having the call with LinkOregon and here are the updates I know so far:
1. They will be doing an on-site meeting on Wednesday with OSU electricians to see if they can find some power to keep LinkOregon switches online during the outage. If they're able to do that, we should be okay and have no outage. 2. LinkOregon will not be able to provide a solution to the secondary POP for the OSL due to the complexity of how our physical networks are connected and the short amount of time we have to make that work. Longer term, it seems to be possible, but will require some planning and reconfiguration on both ends. 3. I will have another meeting Thursday morning with LinkOregon to see where we stand TL;DR: If LinkOregon can find power for their switches, we won't have an outage. If they can't, we will have an eight (8) hour outage next Tuesday evening PDT. Apologies for not being able to send this out sooner. I brought up the fact that we were not notified until last week even though this apparently had been planned for months. Thanks again for your support and patience!
