What is the purpose of the sleep(5) at the start of jekyll and pelican buildbot jobs?

The jekyll_websites.py and pelican_websites.py buildbot jobs both
start with a sleep for 5 seconds.

There is no comment as to why the sleep is needed, nor what the value
depends on.

Does anyone know what the reason is?
