As others have already commented the Hudson archiving phase seems to be really slow, eg Tuscany creates a couple of "all" distributions that are around 80meg and these take several hours to archive, eg see https://hudson.apache.org/hudson/job/Tuscany-2x/970/
So i wondered if there was a way we could configure the Hudson builds to not do that archiving? In the Hudson config "Post-build Actions" section there is a tick box for "Archive the artifacts" which is we have un-ticked, so why are things being archived? ...ant
