look for a bios option to change the amount of stolen/video memory
I thought about this too but unfortunately the BIOS is very limited in
terms of configuration options, so there is nothing related to the GPU
at all.
This diff (against -current) turns the panic into a printf.
It should allow the console to go back to vga when this occurs.
So I should checkout to -current first? I also don't have system sources
as of now so I'll take my time to prepare everything.
to temporarily disable inteldrm, at the boot prompt
boot -c
disable inteldrm*
quit
Should I try this with the patch applied or before it? I'll probably
make a second hard drive with OpenBSD today so I don't need to swap
anymore and will report when done. I'll be back home at ~19:00 +03:00
and will try your suggestions.
