I thought about this too but unfortunately the BIOS is very limited in terms of configuration options, so there is nothing related to the GPU at all.

This diff (against -current) turns the panic into a printf.
It should allow the console to go back to vga when this occurs.
So I should checkout to -current first? I also don't have system sources as of now so I'll take my time to prepare everything.

to temporarily disable inteldrm, at the boot prompt

        boot -c
        disable inteldrm*
        quit
Should I try this with the patch applied or before it? I'll probably make a second hard drive with OpenBSD today so I don't need to swap anymore and will report when done. I'll be back home at ~19:00 +03:00 and will try your suggestions.
