There seems to be a case c: Only MPV crashes, with the following messages after a few seconds after a sndioctl command: amdgpu: The CS has been rejected (-2), but the context isn't robust. amdgpu: The process will be terminated.
I forgot to mention, but maybe it matters: the window manager in use is DWM from https://dwm.suckless.org . But I believe it must be related to graphics/amdgpu driver (becaues of "amdgpu" duh)
