Hi George! In my case I don't have internal speakers and my MB only have three rear-panel jacks, and I two audio jack in the front panel. This problem with audio is very old and affect AMD Ryzen system without a defined pattern. For example, in my case, I can play audio for minutes until stuck and my audio is dead, only reboot the system solve the issue (until next stuck).
