I have small Intel Celeron N3150 box for different kind of testing
scenarios. Mostly it runs obsd. Last time it had 7.0 version and now I have
reinstalled it to 7.4 version. Box suffers strange freezes one in every ten
second. That did not happen in 7.0 version. After a little bit of debugging
I found out that "drmwq" process runs all the time and it spikes in every
ten seconds (ish). When it spikes whole box stops. I can be seen when using
console that it won't respond inputs and ping latence goes to over 500ms.
Issues seems to be in somewhere in "inteldrm" driver and issues comes only
when HDMI cable is unplugged. When it is plugged to display all is good.
Box has two HDMI outputs and issues is "fixed" when either one has HDMI
connection to display.
This box usually operated without keyboard and monitor. I have tried to
disable inteldrm and even drm from kernel and it did not solve the issue as
system refused to work then. I have tried different options is system bios
to find workaround but no success. Same issue with SP kernel.
