Which version were you running before upgrading? The iwx driver code in -current is the same as in 7.4 release. There was just one trivial change to ignore an event which was seen on one particular embedded hardware product. That change by itself won't cause coonectivity issues. If you want help, please run 'ifconfig iwx0 debug', try to connect, and show the lines of iwx debug output added to /var/log/messages.
