slaacd(8) is a bit too trigger happy and starts working as soon as it sees the autoconf6 flag. At that point the link-local address on the interface might still be tentative and sendmsg(2) fails. But slaacd(8) very agressively retries so you should have a v6 address a second later. So while it needs fixing these are not the droids you are looking for. -- I'm not entirely sure you are real.
