>Description:
This machine hangs while booting with an external monitor connected via
VGA. Once the boot phase reaches drm initialization, the internal
monitor turns black. If I unplug the VGA cable fast enough, the boot
usually continues. If I'm to slow, booting does not recover and I have
to press the powerbutton and turn the machine off.
The external display works just fine if I connect it after booting
finished (once drm initialization is complete).
I compiles -current with DRMDEBUG and I'm pretty sure that the internal
screen turn black once the following error(s) appears in dmesg:
