It looks good to me. Maybe there could be a mention of that somewhere, maybe in README or README-hacking, that a tarball is present in the release for files used in tests with non-ascii names and that the tarball will be generated from sources reproducibly only if the tar command is a recent enough GNU tar. -- Pat
