The files with non-ASCII file names are all for texi2any tests, either under tp/t or tp/tests. We have discussed non-ASCII files before: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-texinfo/2023-10/msg00066.html https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-texinfo/2023-12/msg00019.html The easy way to eliminate non-ASCII file names would be to remove those tests, of course.
