(info "(texinfo) @format") says:

This is an example of text written between a '@format' command
and an '@end format' command.  As you can see
from this example,
the '@format' command does not fill the text.

OK, that's great.

However it would take five minutes less to figure out if instead you
just used the conventional two part:

A B C

becomes

A
B
C

etc. style examples.

I.e., show the source code of your example.
