Error while upgrading

Hello,
I have been facing error while upgrading from ubuntu version 18.04 to 20.04.
i entered sudo apt update and after that sudo apt upgrade but right after
that it shows error saying "installed install-info package
post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 127
Errors were encountered while processing: install-info"
please help
