To Whom It May Concern:

Under the options title in the manual, the example of tar cfv a.tar /etc 
creates a file called a.tar, however the description states that the new file 
would be called etc.tar instead of a.tar. "...into the archive file 
etc.tar...". It should read "...into the archive file a.tar...".
