Thank you for the report. That appears to be a bug in a recent version of Parted. Can you reproduce it? Can you reproduce it using Parted-2.3? If so, please tell us precisely what commands you ran. If not, do you remember what you were doing when it happened? What type of partition table did the disk have? MSDOS? GPT?
