do you mean FDISK? I can't find FSDISK.

There is no program called FSDISK. There are 'fdisk' and 'sfdisk'.

PARTED has worked well for me all the time.

I encountered only one peculiar problem with PARTED:
Starting and end addresses "sometimes" are accepted only,
in very coarsely grained sizes, so e.g. 7.1 GB instead of
7.1234 GB (or 7123.4 MB). "Sometimes" means, this behavior turned
out to differ between versions or even between different machines
(with the same version numbers).

Parted adjusts the start and end values to align with the disk
geometry. However has this feature shown any broken behaviour in your
case?
