Hi, I was trying to create new partitions and after
creating the new partition, would run the command:
partprobe
so that I wouldn't be forced to reboot. I got the
following strange error:
"A bug has been detected in GNU parted. Please email
a bug report to bug-parted@gnu.org containing the
version (1.6.19) and the following message:Assertion
((C * heads + H) * sectors + S == A) at disk_dos.c:582
in function probe_partition_for_geom() failed."
As mentioned in the subject, I am currently running
RHEL v4 with version 1.6.19-1. The output of parted
/dev/hda is listed below. Thank you for your time.
