Follow-up Comment #3, sr #110809 (group m4): ISO WG14 has voted to accept https://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg14/www/docs/n3322.pdf, see https://sourceware.org/pipermail/libc-alpha/2024-October/160375.html . With this change, memcpy(dest, NULL, 0) is no longer undefined, and GCC and glibc ought to catch up soon (GCC regarding their sanitizer, and glibc regarding the declaration of memcpy() in <string.h>).
