In the verbose log you sent initially, I see Initializing embedded CFF font list. Found file in search path: /usr/share/fonts/opentype/urw-base35/C059-Roman.otf -> /usr/share/fonts/opentype/urw-base35/C059-Roman.otf Embedding CFF font `C059-Roman'. [/usr/share/fonts/opentype/urw-base35/C059-Roman.otf] Found file in search path: /usr/share/fonts/truetype/noto/NotoColorEmoji.ttf -> /usr/share/fonts/truetype/noto/NotoColorEmoji.ttf [/usr/share/fonts/truetype/noto/NotoColorEmoji.ttf] Right now, I have no idea why LilyPond is looking for the NotoColorEmoji font... Can you try to find which commit introduced the problem for you, using 'git bisect'? Thanks.
