I gave it a deeper look, and : - there is a tmp-ly folder produced when generating my pdf with latex and lyluatex - this tmp-ly folder contains intermediate files, and I imagine those are produced by lilypond - the intermediate file in this folder is already lacking the annotation (joined) - but when I zoom in, I can see the edge of the annotation, it's just cropped out at 99.9% - which leads me to believe that it's a bounding box problem.
