I believe the song is an English translation of "Es waren Hirten zu Bethlehem" by Christian Palmer. The hymnal I have doesn't credit any composers and I can't find a complete score online. I have found some other examples. http://www.hymnary.org/tune/my_redeemer_mcgranahan (9/8 to 12/8) The following are even more interesting because they do not fit what I was calling logical above based on the plain durations of the notes because of a switch from simple to compound meter. http://www.hymnary.org/tune/let_us_crown_him_mcgranahan (4/2 to 12/4) http://www.hymnary.org/tune/behold_what_love_what_bound_mcgranahan (4/4 to 12/8) As these three are all written by the same man, I suspect there are more to be found. _______________________________________________ bug-lilypond mailing list bug-lilypond@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond
