I forgot to mention that syllables don't get lost when musicxml2ly is used with the option --no-beaming. But this is only a dirty workaround as LilyPonds' autobeaming algorithm overrides the beaming information provided by the .xml-file. Beyond that we implemented a new musicxml2ly feature to translate the stem directions (https://github.com/Philomelos/lilypond-musicxml2ly-dev/commit/0747e5ce34f8d3a6128302ec0363a8f5f91ce3fd). This leads to ugly effects in combination with --no-beaming as LilyPond tries to connect notes with stems pointing in different directions... Am 05.10.2012 um 23:06 schrieb pls:
