Oh. So the partcombiner is working as designed and as before. That means we have one _regression_ to fix, namely the warning (and you changed the summary accordingly).

But we might also have an enhancement issue here: should the part combiner try to merge articulations in some manner when chording material? If it is operating at the _event_ level, it does not seem to make all that much sense to play several indistinguishable event starts, unless the order makes no difference. And "the order makes no difference" will be the case for _chord_ articulations if multiple spanners _either_ start at the same moment _or_ end at the same moment. If the articulations/spanners are attached to individual _notes_, then ambiguity is more of a problem, but then putting stuff in a single _voice_ is probably not the right way to proceed (it's just not easy to get that into Bach's head so that it would stick).
