Doesn't happen on Windows 7 with 2.15.25 nor on Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid
Lynx with current (18cfd801fa7fcd698e924f3b530862714f3e3013) master.
It happens for me also (with current git) if you produce output with
--ps.
Which PS viewer? Which OS? Which platform (32 or 64 bit)? Which gs version?
