Yes, anything is "reasonable and simple" when it's somebody else doing the work.
I am not certain that GUB can still build 2.14. If you can build the 2.14.3 binaries with GUB with absolutely no problems, then I'll consider making a 2.14.3 release when I'm back in Glasgow. But no promises.
As far as I'm concerned, asking somebody else to test a release before I'll even consider it is "reasonable and simple".
