Pushed to dev/staging as merge commit
2e9fc1b747561c87693b1d6455ea979a528e1cd0 (must be merge commit in order not
to disturb bisection).
Passed regtests and documentation compilation at my site, so I am pretty
confident this works. And it really improves Lilypond startup...
Will require version number update after passing into master.
