I've tested whether this works, and can confirm that learning is rebuilt if tutorial.itely is edited. :-) The only issue is that contributor is not built by lily-book and so there's no dep file. Before verifying, I think the CG should be updated to make this difference clear.
(BTW - I only discovered this because I first tried the fix on contributor....)
