As previously reported, when Lilypond-2.15.12-darwin-ppc.tar.bz2 is decompressed on my G4 PowerBook running OS 10.5.8, it will not open. The OS warns,
<You can't open the application "LilyPond.app" because it is not supported on this architecture.> Attempting to run LilyPond.app/Contents/MacOS/LilyPond results in a terminal warning of "Bad CPU type in executable." Version 2.11.8 works. I have not seen any comments indicating architecture restrictions to explain this change.
